Below are the answers to some questions we are regularly asked. If you still can’t find what you are looking for, please get in contact by emailing info@creativityworksforeveryone.co.uk, or by phoning 01761 438852.
What is Creativity Works?
Creativity Works is a charitable organisation working in Bath, North-East Somerset and Bristol.
What do you do?
We work with communities (geographical, social and of interest) to develop, facilitate and deliver creative projects, that promote health and wellbeing
What happened to nesa? And for that matter, North East Somerset Arts?
In September 2010 nesa became Creativity Works. Our areas of work are still the same, and we still offer the same high standards, but it was felt that our geographical area had expanded beyond North-East Somerset, and our name had to mirror that expansion.
North East Somerset Arts changed to nesa in 2005, with similar reasons to those above
How long have you been in Radstock?
Since the early eighties (1981 to be precise). But we have only been at our current address on Wells Hill since late summer 2010.
Can anyone come to your projects / events?
That varies from project to project. Some of our work is done within specific communities, Pathways for example is a project run for women in medium secure units, while other events, like Art|Works (our annual community arts festival), are for the entire community to come and enjoy.
What areas of the community do you mostly work with?
Over the years we have worked with a wide variety of communities. For example, past projects have ranged from working with women with post-natal depression (My Time My Space), to working with Primary School children (Fit for Life).
How can I volunteer?
We are always pleased to know somebody wants to offer us their time. If you are such a person then we would love to have you help. Please visit the ‘Contact’ page for details.
How can I help?
As a small charitable organisation we are always trying to boost our income. If you would like to sponsor us, donate, or offer us your expertise then please get in touch.
What does your colour scheme mean?
The colour scheme exists to connect disparate projects together into four key areas:
Orange - Development and Progression
Green - Wellbeing and Health
Purple - Community Engagement
Pink - Creative Partnerships
We are aware that a number of our projects could conceivably be covered by more than one of these headings.
