Ketamine Support Group

This was a targeted creative project to tackle the challenging issue of drug abuse and addiction to young people who were chronically addicted to Ketamine.

The project came from research paper carried out for the University of Bath. The research paper initiated this project to provide positive creative activity with Ketamine users in Radstock. The Ketamine Support Group worked with eight young people over five sesssions with artist Jeff Brody. They produced pieces of art with traditional stone carving techniques.

"All of the young people engaged well and enjoyed the opportunity to work with an artist using a medium they had not used before. It enabled them to be creative in a new way and allowed for their own designs and ideas to be used and developed."
