‘Getting People Involved' project community report is avaliable now
Want to really know what local people from Radstock and Westfield about what community means to them, what they value about community and how they would like to see their communities improved? All voices, findings and recommendations are brought together by Creativity Works from the Phase 1 'Getting People Involved' project for Radstock and Westfield communities. It is now ready for you to download and use. If you work or live in Clandown, Tyning, Writhlington, Haydon, Westfield and/or Radstock then this is an invaluable free resource that can validate and evidence the need for your grassroots creative community activities, campaigning, events and/or developmental work.

‘Creativity Works in Communities'- our new community engagement developments
We are currently working hard in Radstock, Westfield and Midsomer Norton listening, re-listening and meeting new people, groups and councilors to help us provide the appropriate resources and support to local community groups and community activators. What community creative activities are you delivering or do you want in your area? We are responding to what you have said and are saying to us. B&NES Arts Development and Town and Parish councils funding have also over the past few years supported our programme will support our work with communities until 2014.

Developing our offer to artists
Arts Council England funding will help us to improve the quality of artistic input and develop more opportunities and training for artists, establish guidelines and support for both artists and communities to develop local solutions to local issues. We are concentrating on developing our co|CREATE programme and new artistic development opportunities.

‘Creative Links’- creative mental health support service
The new Creative Mental Health Support Service called ‘Creative Links’, will be led by us. The service will serve B&NES and support creative engagement to enable active participation in community activity. Participants and community are integral to this service – helping to make links with ongoing support and progression opportunities in B&NES.

Successful Arts Council England funding
After a year or two of careful cost cutting, refocusing around our key areas of work and improving our marketing and advocacy, we are pleased to have secured a range of funding for the next four years, including Arts Council England Grants for the Arts, National Portfolio Organisation funding.
